Good News Family Care Nursery has been supporting families in the community since 1989

What Are We Doing?

We've got lots of exciting things going on at the moment:

We decorated a lamppost for Whaley Bridge Carnival. If you look carefully - you can still see it near old road.
	We had lots of fun, making our Wells Dressing, on the theme of the Olympic Torch. It was was on show in the canal basin for the wells dressing festival. We also made our mini wells dressings at nursery and at the school fairs at Whaley Bridge and Taxal & Fernilee. Did you come and see us?
Recently we've been thinking about the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, making flags and pictures, dressing up and having street parties.
	At the moment we've been thinking about the Olympic Torch relay and all the different people taking part.

What Do We Get Up To?

Throughout the year, we focus on lots of different activities.
Our planning covers one area of the EYFS per week,
with focussed activities differentiated for each child's stage of development.
We include the childrens interests and experiences in our planning so that we can work with them to create a learning environment where they can feel comfortable and have fun at the same time.

Each child has a Key Person who is responsible for supporting and recording that Child's development and next steps as well as working with the family/carers, to help the child achieve their full potential.

We are also fully OFSTED Registered.

We occupy the entire ground floor at Good News Church (with a private entrance at the rear).
There is also a fully equipped outside space.
The inside has different areas for role-play, construction, art/craft, sensory play and a quiet book area as well as loads of space to have fun, make friends and grow together.

Who Are We?

At Whaley Bridge GNFC, we exist to care for and support families in our community.
All the members of staff are experienced child-care professionals with qualifications of NVQ level 3 equivilant or above and we have an experienced pool of supply staff. We are an Ofsted registered nursery and work alongside a range of different professionals & organisations.

When are we open?
We run 3 hour sessions in the morning and afternoon
with the option to have wrap around care - why not bring
your packed lunch and share it with us?

Monday to Thursday:
9:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 4:00pm, (incl. lunch)
Friday:
9:00am to 12:00pm

We take children from 12 months to 5 years.

What Are The Fees?

It is £10 per session & £3.30 for lunch

There is a special reduced price of £8.50 per session for a second child
